Hi! I’m Amanda, photographer based in Campbell River, BC. My family and I moved from the Okanagan and we are absolutely loving the Island life. My husband and and our 2 boys love to explore all the Island has to offer.
Your job is, and should be, to focus on creating, connecting and working with your clients and customers. I understand that taking photos and creating content for social media your website is usually at the bottom of the priority list. Beautiful eye catching professional photos are SO important in creating meaningful emotional connections. They want to see you - your clients want to see what you do and how you do it!
That’s where I come in! My job as your branding photographer is to take the pressure off and take one more thing off your plate. I’m here to plan and create an easy, streamline process for a branding or headshot session from first chat to final gallery delivery! From our first contact and phone call to discuss your ideas, to a customized pinterest board for pinning ideas to give us visual reference, as well as a guide to prepare and plan your must have images, location ideas, outfit options, week of prep, day of timing and lots of little tips along the way. I promise to walk you through the whole process, in a fun, simple, comfortable way!

We had an amazing experience with Amanda Rentiers! I was the lucky winner of a mini session giveaway she held. Amanda had to reschedule our session 3 times due to extreme weather of heat, smoke and rain. She could have just done the photos in the weather that it was because it was free but she was so professional and concerned that we received the best service from her that we waited until an ideal day. Once our session did happen, she was amazing at capturing natural shots of our family of 5 and dog. I am so happy with the final photos and had a hard time choosing our package because all of the shots were so wonderful! It was easy to coordinate with her regarding location and timing of the session and when it looked like the weather wasn't going to cooperate she contacted me to set up back up times and offered to reschedule to make sure the weather worked for us. Best experience ever!!! She was casual and yet professional. Great atmosphere to get our first professional family photos done. Everyone has commented on our photos about how great they were. Definitely captured all our "unique" personalities. The hardest part was picking the best ones to frame since they were all good. I would recommend her for sure!!
